Land at your own risk! Somerton Airport is a private airport but open to all with Waiver and Release submission.

The main runway (17/35) is lit from dusk to dawn. Somerton Airport (54AZ) is located on AZ Hwy 95 two miles east of Somerton, Arizona, a half mile west of the Cocopah Casino, and five miles southwest of Yuma, AZ. Estimated elevation is 177'. Please refer here for more information about the Yuma International Airport's airspace and Somerton's exclusion area.

Somerton Airport is the EAA Chapter 590's home field and now has a Dinner and an Aircraft Movie night once a month. Contact Charles Saltzer for dates and more info. Bring your own food/drinks, but a BBQ grill will be available. Popcorn is supplied.

Airport Services

Services available on/from the airfield include 100LL fuel, rental cars, flight instruction, scenic tours, planes for rent, annual inspections, mechanical services, avionics, hangars, and tie-downs. Somerton airport license plates and t-shirts are available.

Casino Access
Somerton Airport is located a half mile from Cocopah Casino and offers a free tiedown for those going to the casino.
